1 : Always call in and have fast pickup. Good country cooking. Personally love hamburger steak plate with onion gravy and vegetables of the day. Also like chicken fried steak plate and beans n Cornbread ?.
2 : Stopped in to Betty’s Bar-B-Q, from TN, for excellent fried chicken. The chicken was cooked fresh, while we waited, so it came out beautifully seasoned, crisp, hot and juicy. It was a fabulous treat paired with some truly Southern tasting green beans. Keep up the good work!
3 : Looking for some BBQ in my travels, I ran across this place and decided to give it a whirl. The service was prompt and courteous and my server Tandi was great. The tea was soured, either the sweet or the unsweet tea, as I prefer half & half. I ordered the sliced beef brisket come slaw and baked beans. The beans were good and even had a little meat in them, very sweet they were. The cole slaw was more or a finer puree style of chop with very little carrots in it, a very runny mayo style. The beef had a lot of gristle in it and had hardly any smoke flavor at all, it came smothered in bbq sauce, had it not it would have had no flavor hardly. Look at the picture, the smoke penetration was about 1/8″ into the meat, very little. This meat was dry as well like it had been sitting around under a heat lamp for sometime, maybe it was just overcooked, but one or the other. The cornbread was dense and did not rise very much when it was made. It also had been made for a while. The portions were decent, this was the best thing and the price was not bad, had everything been better. If out looking for bbq, pass this place up…….
4 : The food was very fresh and service friendly. No wait to sit and prices were very fair. Great selection of sides; the hush puppies were my favorite side but the fried okra was very good too. Sauce was a little plain but everything else was good enough to overcome. I would recommend if you’re driving through.
5 : First time ever in all my visits here was very upset with no BBQ meat on BBQ salad and they BBQ potatoe was cold and dry because no butter or sour cream on it. Salad was very small. My friend did call about it and was told we could drive back up there and get it .
